Kids growing, New Pets, and Heartbreak

It has been YEARS since I have used this. Now the girls are older, Sami turned 6 in May and Cady will be 4 in October. Samirah graduated from Kindergarten this yr, she was very excited. She is doing well with school, absolutely LOVES it.

Cady is jealous and wants school to. They were in Daycare for awhile and she loved that. Still talks about her "teacher" haha. Both are fully potty trained and doing well. When tested they are normally average to high average, except in social skills. Both girls are on about the same level as 7 yr olds! I don't know why they are so social since I am not but they are lol.

We have a new dog, Midnight. She is a malamut (I think) and Blue Heeler mix. She likes to chew. I am trying to stop that. For the first few weeks we had her Cady would go out and play chase with her and laugh when she would chew her toes and pull her by the shirt. Now that Midnight is getting bigger Cady don't like it anymore. Now we have to break midnight of the behavior.

Now the big news, for the past 2 yrs (well almost 2 yrs) we have lived with a man. He was a sweetheart when he wanted to be and I loved him very much. The girls call him Daddy. I say loved, I mean love, because no matter what I do love him with all my heart. We are currently seperated. I had to leave, he is pretty much emotionally unavailable. He isn't one to cuddle and be loving and all of that. He can be rude and mean actually.

Now he is begging me to return, his daughter is also begging me to return. He swears he understands now and needs to prove it. That if I move back he will prove it and be the most loving blah blah. I want to beleive him but he is still mostly acting exactly the same. I dunno.
