Active Babies, Screaming Toddlers, and Falling Asleep
Sorry no post yesterday. I fell asleep. I was tired heh.
Cady slept last night from about 10-1030 till 630 this morning! I was soooo happy lol. Then she slept another hr and stayed awake until about 830 and by then Sami was awake. So, I've been awake since about 830. Cady then woke up around 930-10 and slept for maybe 2 hrs total today. She was VERY active today.
Everytime she would fall asleep Sami would scream. She is in a mean streak right now. She is pinching and hitting and screaming alot. Luckily, she hasn't gone after Cady, mostly me. I think I need to find some time to spend with her. Poor kid is prob just wanting a little mommy time.
I'm run, prob crash out. NIGHT!

New Blog, Heart Attacks, and Improving Life
I made a new blog on here to chronicle my weight loss (or lack of). So far it's nothing lol, will start the REAL posts tomorrow.
My children are trying to give me a heart attack. I was cooking dinner and Sami was standing on the chair beside me and Cady was laying in her bassinet just looking around. Suddenly, Cady lets out this ear peircing scream! It sounded like she was dying! I run to her and see nothing wrong and am trying to calm her and I remember Sami is standing near the stove with noone in the room with her! I holler for her to get down and start to walk over and I see she is getting down so I turn back and am going to sit and feed Cady. That's all I can think of that she would need. Just before I sit, I look over and Sami is standing in the door of the kitchen crying and screaming. I couldn't hear her over Cady screaming but I could see pain on her face. I freak thinking that she burned herself.
So, still holding a screaming Cady, I run to my 2 yr old expecting the worse and ask her what was wrong. She points to her stomach and about that time I see her horse (horse head on a stick) was lying sideways whereas when I had passed it earlier it had been sticking up. Sami had stuck the head in her little drum and left the stick poking at an angle. I hadn't given it a second thought when I saw it because I was rushing to Cady. Well, turns out that Sami had come running into the livingroom and had run square into it. It scratched her tummy a little but no real harm. I am thinking about having her eyes checked.
She can see stuff real well most of the time but runs into things alot. Like her horse or the counter. Today, she went running into the kitchen and around the corner towards the hall and ran smack into the counter! It knocked her down and she cried until I kissed her head and then ran around the same corner but this time slowed down and was careful to avoid the counter.
It was like she didn't see it the first time. I dunno. I don't know how I would get her eyes checked since she is the least cooperative child on earth. We would set her in the chair and ask her a question and she would say NO, if she said anything at all.
Anywho, over the next yr I plan on improving the lifes of my children and me. I plan on getting healthy and getting Sami healthy. Cady is already eating as healthy as she can heh. I plan on getting us more active and less TV. This is my New Years Resolution. I plan on managing money better and keeping the house picked up better. The health part will be in my weightloss blog, and I am considering another blog for the other stuff. Of course, all of my blogs will probably blend together. This one is life in general, which in a way is the weightloss, better health, and all the rest. I'm also considering a blog about BFing. I don't know for sure.
Of course, if I make all these blogs and post in each on a daily basis then I'll spend all my time bogging lol. We'll see how it goes!

Another Day, Omlettes, and Crazy Kids
Well, yet another day has gone by. Nothing of interest has happened really. It's still pretty white outside.
My friend Jen is planning on moving down sometime in the next wk or 2. She will stay here until she gets her own place. At least thats the plan. Things aren't going so good for her and she misses NM. If she does make it, we may be looking to get a place together. We'll see.
I made an omelette for dinner tonight. When we have omelettes we make one big one then split it between the 3 of us. Normally we use 6 eggs but there was only 7 in the carton so I used all 7. I fried the left over ham from Christmas dinner with some frozen spinach and mushrooms and used the grease from that instead of using butter. There was WAY to much stuff lol. I took out that mix and poured the egg in. I added that and alot of cheese when the time was right. Then I tried to fold it. Didn't work lol. It didn't go all the way, to much insides hehe. Well, when I went to flip it it kinda folded the rest over (think burritos) so I was like cool, that works. I let it finish then cut it up ect. Turned out pretty good actually. Oh, I added some Lemon, Pepper, and Garlic souce/mariniade thats meant for fish or chicken to the eggs. Not alot, just enough for a little flavor. I was happy with how it turned out.
There was ALOT more spinach in it then I had planned. I had it thawing in a bowl of hot water and I looked over and, lo and behold, the 2 yr old was adding more to the bowl! I told her to stop and went back to my work, looked back and, surprise, she hadn't stopped! Teach me to think a 2 yr old will listen! LOL. I chased her off (no harm done really, spinach is good for ya so I let it go) and went back to cooking. I don't think she ate it all though.
She is being a major pain now a days. She keeps pestering her sister. Today Cady was swinging and sleeping peacefully and Sami was playing and I looked over to check on Cady and Sami was sitting there pushing the swing so far back the poor baby was falling forward! Thank God I buckle her in! I freaked and told her to get away from the baby. I kept an eagle eye on her the rest of the day. She was just trying to push her sister but it scared the CRAP outta me! No harm done, Cady is ok.
Anywho, I am going to attempt to move Cady from swing to bassinet and crash out. NIGHT!

Profile Views, Crying Fits, and Cravings
So, I have 50 veiws of my profile. If that many people have looked at my blog why have I not gotten any comments or even anyone posting to my map? The only ones on my map are people I know and they added from Myspace. Am I just boring? lol Honestly, I am interested in what others think of my babble. I didn't think anyone read it at all.
So, the past wk or so Cady has had crying fits every night. I think it's colic or a growth spurt. At least its evening and not uber late at night. She is peacefully sleeping in her swing right now.
Sami is being a pain. She wants me to read to her but she won't sit still and listen. I hate trying to read to a child who is wiggling around. Now she is in the room. I need to go put her to bed. I may go on to bed too. We'll see. Lataz!

Snow, Freezing Cold, and Stuck at Home
Its snowing again today. Cady is sleeping the day away after having a fit early this morning. She woke around 6 and was up crying and being wide awake until about 7-730. Woke Sami up several times but luckily she went back to sleep pretty fast. I finally got the swing and put her in it and she slept until 10-1030 when Casey woke me.
She scared me to death lol. I heard what sounded like a knock so I listened but didn't hear it again so I started to go back to sleep thinking I was hearing things when all of a sudden it was ALOT closer lol. I jumped up and looked around. Took me a few minutes to figure out that it was a knock on my window lol. I go and open the front door and Casey comes up. They were heading home and wanted to drop a few things off.
Sami had gotten up with me to answer the door so we stayed up. I turned on the TV in the livingroom and Tom and Jerry was on. She likes that show so we watched it for a while. I finally decided I wanted to watch something different so I turned on the bedroom TV and it was on Dora the Explorer. I told Sami "Look! Dora is on!" and she got up and said "OK! I'm looking!" and walked to the room and said "It is Dora!" I think she thought I was lying lol.
Anywho, I don't have much else to write on at the moment. I may write again later on. LATAZ!

Christmas, Sweet babies, and Snow
So, yesterday was Christmas. Was a good day. I got up and was planning on making pancakes and then waking everyone else up to eat. Instead, Sami woke up shortly after me. So, instead I woke dad up and we waited for him to get in the livingroom. When he came in I pointed the gifts out to Sami. They were sitting in the middle of the floor but she hadn't seen them lol. When I pointed them out she started grabbing and ripping. I didn't get any pics but it was cute. She played with her stuff while I made pancakes. We ate and the day went on.
Later on Casey came over with her little cutie, Kimberly. We took pics of all the girls together and traded babies for a little bit lol. Kimberly is alot bigger then Cady. Its funny, they were born just a few hrs apart but their are such differences. Kimberly is bigger and seems so much more active and alert then Cady. I put Cady in the swing and she passes out no matter what. Kimberly stayed awake and was looking all over the place. She has such big beautiful eyes! I can't wait to see how both girls grow!
They stayed for awhile. They'll be heading home tomorrow sometime. I was glad I got to see them. Well, it's late so I'm gunna go. NIGHT!
